Selection of Wines From Our Cellar

Our wine selection is carefully selected directly from producers. All our bottles are high quality natural vines, mainly from Vipava Valley wine region, selected from micro locations.

Posestvo Zoria – Podraga Vipava Valley

The Zoria estate is located in the upper Vipava Valley, more precisely in the village of Podraga. The farm is a wine-growing and livestock-raising farm. The roots of the farm date back to 1813, as indicated by the year in the cellar. The vineyards lie on the slopes of the “Vipavski Brda” (Vipavski Brda) where extreme locations, the Vipava bora (Vipavski bora) wind and our hard work give their mark to the wines. In the vineyard and cellar, we respect the knowledge of our ancestors, which we upgrade with modern knowledge. By understanding the characteristics of our locations, soil and microclimate, we adapt the varieties and the method of processing. This way, we achieve that we get the most out of each variety and location.

Posestvo Štokelj – Planina Vipava Valley

With respect for tradition and our native land, we create modern wines with a Vipava flavor. The marly terraces of the Vipava Hills are warmed by the sun and cooled by the Vipava bura wind, creating the best conditions for the growth of vines. Here, on the southern slopes of the Vipava Valley, indigenous varieties have always thrived, adapted to special growing conditions. That is why on the Štokelj family estate, which is located among the best wine-growing locations, we swear primarily by local varieties.

San Martin Wines – Brje Vipava Valley

No matter how you look at it, nothing good comes from nothing, and neither does good wine. For great wine, however, the winemaker must establish a special bond and love for this work. In our vineyards, we grow 65% white and 35% red grapes. We are most proud of Malvasia N°1, which was chosen by the Japanese Ambassador as the protocol wine of the Japanese embassy, and of Barbera, which was chosen in 2014 as the protocol wine of the municipality of Ajdovščina. In addition to white and red wines, we are also known for our top-quality, award-winning rosés from the Merlot variety. The range of white and red still wines is complemented by two sparkling wines, Rose and Malvasia.

Posestvo Ferjančič – Planina Vipava Valley

Throughout the long history of the Ferjančič farm, viticulture and winemaking have always had their place. Today, vines are planted in all the best locations. We produce wines in step with the times and with thoughts of the house tradition, which dates back to 1809. In the embrace of the sun and the Vipava bora wind, in addition to the mountain favorite Pinella, our vineyards also grow the special Zelen, Rebula and cosmopolitan Chardonnay and Sauvignon. Of the red varieties, Cabernet and Merlot. Wine accompanies human civilization at all its most important milestones. Our wines therefore appeal to anyone who wants to learn about a part of tradition and modern knowledge of how to establish the bond between man and nature. Their freshness, vitality, but also fullness and maturity, the wealth of harmony play their role in the company of everyday life and holidays. They are worth stopping for. Seize the moment for yourself, live richly!

Dora Erzelj – Erzelj Vipava Valley

Vinarstvo Dora Erzelj is a young brand that came onto the market in 2015. We focus on local Vipava varieties. Our vineyards are located on steep wine-growing locations, on flysch soils. Our guiding principle is quality, which is why we also have a low vine load (up to a kilogram). All wines are produced by spontaneous fermentation, then they lie on fine lees for up to one year. Our wines are mainly fresh, light, with a pronounced mineral note.

Wine Art Lisjak – Saksid Vipava Valley

Multi-generational grape cultivation and production of top-quality wines using the most modern machinery and equipment and expert knowledge, taking into account all guidelines for the greatest possible protection of nature. The share of white wines produced is 60%, and red wines are 40%. White wines are produced using an “inert process”, with as little negative impact of oxidation on the must and the new wine itself as possible. All red wines are matured for a certain period of time in oak barrels and aged for several years before being released to the market. The main purpose is to produce wines with a primary, grape aroma, which is the most demanding process in wine production. Most of the wines are exported.
